Very Neat Little Laptop |

This is a very cool laptop which fits our needs for leisure travel extremely well. We are retirees who travel a lot and don't want to lug around a lot of weight but like to keep in touch with the rest of the world while we tavel. We thought long and hard about a Net Book but they are very limited in capability. For about the same amount of money the Acer is a fully capable Laptop with Windows 7 which works smoothly. We have Vista on our other 2 computers but Windows 7 appears to be an improvement although not a very dramatic one. We ordered the laptop through Orderitdiscount on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday with no shipping charge. We took it out of the box, fired it up and it was running in a matter of minutes without a lot of messing around. We were able to get it hooked in to our wireless printer in minutes. Obvioulsy this laptop has a small screen so you will likely need your glasses to use it comfortably, but we are very pleased with this product. |

2 Small Shortcomings |

Had it for 2 months now. Two minor complaints: max volume is not very loud (I usually use earphones anyway), and I sorta wish I'd held out for Windows 7. Otherwise, I love it. Battery life, screen, keyboard, wi-fi are all excellent. |

Computer arrived on time but was not for me. |

When I ordered this computer I ordered the wrong size but I tried to reach the seller and they wouldnt email me back so I couldnt return it and got stuck with it. Ive had it since Jan. and so far it freezes up more than any computer Ive ever had and sometimes when I want to go turn it on it wont turn on. The only thing good about it is its light weight and long battery power. |

Slow Choice |

I returned the Acer-Aspire for a refund because it's performance was slow and sluggish... it had a below-average level of multitasking which was hard to get used to... the other features were all OK and the long battery life was a plus. |

Starts promptly, excellent screen definition makes it easier to view text and images on the small screen. Highly portable. I use this at work on battery power and get over 6hrs before even worrying about it. Seems to work just as competently as any other computer I've owned. |
